Exciting news for education in Arkadelphia was announced today at a community-wide “Education Pep Rally” at Arkadelphia High School. It was the unveiling of the Arkadelphia Promise. The rally was addressed by special guest speakers Governor Mike Beebe and, by video presentation, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. The AHS cheerleaders, Dazzlers, AHS Band, and the Elementary School Choirs all performed for the rally.
